Amazon is building a campus on 1,200 acres next to the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station nuclear plant. Amazon expects the campus to hold 20 data centers and support about 1,000 permanent jobs when fully built. Talen Energy has a 1,920-MW power purchase agreement with AWS running through 2042. Construction started in October 2025.
